BOOM! Bang! It's Guy Fawkes Night again, and the skies are already lighting up with fireworks from homes around Gwent.

But if you want to make sure you're safe, and to see some truly sensational pyrotechnics for Bonfire Night this year, then don't miss the organised displays being held around the region from tomorrow night.

It all begins at Caerphilly Castle tomorrow night, where one of Wales' biggest firework spectaculars is held every year.

The show, which begins at 7pm, is set to music and comes with a funfair and hot food stalls to keep out the autumn chill.

There's also a display at Llantarnam tomorrow, at the Burton's Biscuits Sports Ground off Llantarnam Road.

Tickets are £3.50 for adults and £2.50 for children from Burton's reception, and there will be space to park the car at Llantarnam School.

The fuse will be lit at 7.30pm but the gates are open from 6pm so you should arrive before 7pm to make sure you don't miss the action.

Sunday evening sees a fusillade of explosions above Cwmbran at Northfields Recreation Ground behind the Oasis Club.

The fun fair opens from 4pm and the fireworks begin at 7pm, courtesy of Cwmbran Round Table.

There's also a display in Abergavenny's Belgrave Road Park on the same night. Tickets are £4 for adults and £2 for children, the gates open at 6.30pm, and the fireworks begin at 7.15pm.

Tredegar's fireworks display takes place on Guy Fawkes Night itself at the Recreation Ground in Tredegar.

The gates open at 6.30pm on Tuesday, and the pyrotechnics start at 7pm - with the added bonus of a display from a group of stunt motorcyclists at half-time. Tickets are £3.50 for adults and £2.50 for children.

And in Chepstow on November 5, the fireworks are at the playing fields of Chepstow Leisure Centre.

The gates open at 6pm for a 7pm start, tickets are £3 for adults and £2 for children and the show will be accompanied by music. Tom Whiteley
