SIX members of Abergavenny Amateur Operatic and Dramatic Society's junior section, pictured, were in Cwmbran on the weekend promoting their forthcoming production of the Wizard of Oz.
Dressed as the main characters, Dorothy, Tin Man, Lion, Scarecrow, Wicked Witch and the Sorceress, the youngsters, aged seven to 18, called into Asda and Sainsbury supermarkets and collected money for Children In Need.
The musical production of Frank L Baum's famous book plays at the Abergavenny Borough Theatre for one week, starting on November 18.
Fifty children between the ages of seven and 18 from throughout Gwent are involved in the production.
