TJ's celebrate Hallowe'en next week with the penultimate appearance by Ivor Beynon (pictured) without his new backing band.

The one man rock'n'roll karaoke machine now has a four piece band backing him starting from November 7, again in TJ's.

The band, Precision and Chaos, hail from Pontypridd (the home of Lostprophets) and can be heard on Ivor's latest single Blackened Souls.

Ivor has a special Hallowe'en set planned from next Thursday including his updated version of Thriller plus a trawl through some of metal's more ghoulish moments.

This week Ivor Beynon appeared in Dazed and Confused, a national magazine who gave him a whole page.

"Kerrang! and the NME said they wouldn't do anything on me until I had something in Dazed and Confused," Ivor said this week."Now I have."

Next week Ivor will star in the first episode of The Bis, a BBC Wales programme about Welsh entrepreneurs, at the series premiere in Cardiff Bay.

Ivor was selected from a mass of applicants and will now star in the fly-on-the-wall/docu-soap programme.

"I will be wearing full Welsh regalia," he said as he marched across Cardiff to pick up his new sword. "But I won't sit down - that'll give me an edge, won't it!"

*HRH Ivor Beynon will headline TJ's Halloween party on Thursday, October 31, with support from No One Driving, Indifference, Noisebleed and Evil DJs. Guests (who must enter of their own free will) can expect ghoulish goodie bags and Hallowe'en punch.

Doors open 9pm. Tickets are £3. For more information surf to www.ivorbeynon.com
