Sonic noise terrorists Pitchshifter, pictured, will take Pontypool's Kennedy Soundtrack with them on their forthcoming UK tour.
Pitchshifter, who are embarking on their first headline UK tour in two years, will play Swansea on Thursday, September 5, to support their recent album P.S.I.
Also supporting them in the Patti Pavilion will be This Girl.
Singer JS Clayden said: "We wanted everything to be just right for this tour and so we spent a long time getting all the venues and towns in place.
"I know we can't hit every spot in the UK, but this is a pretty comprehensive tour including Ireland, Scotland and Wales.
"Our UK fan base has been so supportive to us over the years and it's our greatest pleasure to bring the P.S.I album to them live. See you down the front!"
When Pitchshifter started making records in the early 1990s they sounded like a poor man's Godflesh, with pseudo-industrial clanking and pitch-lowered vocals.
Early releases such as Death Industrial (single) and Industrial (album) saw the band float on the wake of grindcore bands like Napalm Death and ape the industrial mayhem of ancient types SPK and then hip dark things Ministry.
Time passed and Pitchshifter slowly morphed into the MTV-friendly act they are today, largely thanks to the explosion of commercial pop/metal bands like Limp Bizkit.
