GWENT'S Claire Scourfield achieved her Commonwealth Games dream last night, winning bronze in the women's judo 63kg event.
Claire, (pictured) from Pontypool, said: "I can't describe how it felt seeing the Welsh flag go up. I came here with the goal of winning a medal and I'm delighted to have done that." Meanwhile, Risca's Jamie Baulch was part of Wales' triumphant men's 4x400m relay team.
They won the silver medal, missing out on gold by just 100th of a second. Jamie who pulled out of the individual 400m with a hamstring injury, said: "I just didn't want to let the team down."
