HUNDREDS of people gathered to watch a popular dance troupe from Newport put on a stunning performance at the Big Buzz event in Cardiff Bay.
The Duffryn Youth Link crew, pictured, danced, sang and rapped for more than an hour in the Basement Tent yesterday afternoon in front of a very appreciative audience.
Lesa Pates, 24, of the DYL crew, said: "It was absolutely wicked. We have been invited to come back and perform at next year's event and we are definitely going to do it. Everybody just went for it and we were all buzzing after the performance."
She added: "We aim to perform at every place we possibly can because it is such confidence booster for everyone involved."
The DYL crew, who have only been going for a year, are lined up to perform at the Duffryn festival on August 10 and at a show at the Asda store in Duffryn on August 11.
