MEET PJ and Jade - they're looking for a new home. But don't worry, the Bermondsey girl hasn't been thrown out of the Big Brother house while you've been away from the screen.
This PJ and Jade are homeless rats that staff at a Newport veterinary surgeon's have named after their favourite Big Brother characters.
The tame rats were found abandoned in their cage on a pavement near Newport's Summerhill Veterinary Centre.
Veterinary nurse Lesley Jones said the animals had spent the night outside because they had been left on the pavement and not outside their door.
But, just like their namesakes, they are making up for lost time in the food department now they are back on "the rich side". Lesley said: "They seem to be okay and are eating well". A good home, or homes, is now being sought for the rats. Summerhill Veterinary Centre can be contacted on 01633 255394.
