WHEN you live in Gwent, you're never too young to start learning about rugby.
And to prove it, children at Rhiwderin's Cylch Meithrin got a masterclass from Wales international Nathan Budgett when he paid them a visit.
The Abercarn-born flanker, whose nephew attends the nursery, popped in to show the pre-schoolers a few of his gentler moves.
Nursery joint leader Hillary Lougher said: "It was wonderful - and it's surprising how much the children knew about Welsh rugby.
"Nathan was out there with them practising their skills and building for the future of Welsh rugby.
"They're a little bit young to be asking any questions but they were very excited."
