Gig promoters and a South Wales based charity have teamed up to raise money.
The Haiti Fund, which is seeking to raise £10,000 to send a container of goods to Haiti, will be present at five gigs of local bands in Cardiff and Newport and the surrounding area this and next month.
* The first charity gig is Bedwas' annual music event, Livestock, which is tomorrow in the Working Men's Institute.
The line-up is Jarcrew, Jaded, Sal, Squeezebox, Janiero, Brassic, G13, Mini Jets, Monty On The Run, Bleed The Freak, Carsondown, Feenix, FWS, and Six Sided. Entry is £4 from the Music Shack in Caerphilly or £5 on the door. Doors open from 12noon until late.

* Gig number two takes place on Thursday, July 25, in the Toll House, Bridgend. The line-up is No Quenda, Nuke, Midasuno and Spurious. Entry is £3. For more information dial 07718 798437.
*TJs, Newport, hosts the third charitable gig on Wednesday, July 31. The line-up is Nameless, Janiero, Panel, Schafer and Smokestacks. Entry is £4. Dial 01633 216608 for more information.
* For gig four the charity heads west to the Oz Bar, Cardiff on Friday, August 2. The Haiti Fund have teamed up with regular local band promoters Robots Eat my Face. The line-up is Diabolo, Thread, Sons Of Thunder and Ripley. Entry is £3. Dial 029 20 for more information.
* The final fund raiser happens in Clwb Ifor Bach, Cardiff on Sunday, August 4. The line-up is, on the top floor, Rocket Goldstar, SAL, Nameless (unplugged, featuring Teflon Monkey) and Levin.
And, on the middle floor, Christopher Rees, Riff & Little Miracles, Den, and New Druids & Brychan (tbc). Entry is £4. Doors open 9pm. Dial 029 2023 2199. There will be a special CD on sale at the Clwb Ifor Bach gig, featuring acts playing on the night.
