DOLMAN Theatre - My Friend Miss Flint by Donald Churchill and Peter Yeldham (May 13-18).
THE penultimate play of this season is the delightful comedy about Tom Lambert, a botanist and TV gardening personality who receives a telephone call one morning from the Inland Revenue about his PR consultant, a Miss Joanna Flint, of whom he has no knowledge.
By lunchtime, however, he knows all about Miss Flint and rather wishes he didn't, for Sarah, his accountant and ex-wife, confesses she invented Miss Flint as a tax dodge and that unfortunately the Revenue have rumbled her!
How Tom and Sarah manage to get out of this tricky situation, hindered by some odd characters, provides some sparkling moments in this highly entertaining comedy. Don't miss it!
