WAR returns to Chepstow this weekend by courtesy of the Chepstow Society. Their Wartime Reminiscences exhibition allows children and adults alike take a look at the history of military endeavour in Monmouthshire.
Find out what your grandparents were up to in 1945, why the Indian's mules couldn't get through Chepstow's town arch and how the wrong kind of grease delayed the launch of a ship.
Packed with stories and pictures detailing Chepstow's part in world history, the exhibits also show the military aircraft stationed at the racecourse and American tanks crowding over the town bridge.
At the Drill Hall on Saturday, Sunday and Monday, admission is free and the exhibition is open from 10am to 4pm.
