KYLIE Minogue begins a four-night stint at Cardiff International Arena tonight. The hot Oz star is in Britain again for the second time in as many years and is in serious danger of 'over-exposing' herself!
While the tabloid Press might run Kylie-bottom features each week and speculate about how much plastic surgery she might have had, surely the public's interest is due to diminish soon?
Her concert in the same barn last year was composed mainly of thirtysomething couples, large groups of gay men and the occasional teenager.
The atmosphere was fantastic and the dancing superb but the music was not great. Two full-tonsilled backing singers helped Kylie's squeak through the longer notes in her repertoire, which, although few in number, did reveal the former Neighbours' star's weakness: She's a poor singer.
This year's tour comes before her latest single, Love at First Sight, which is out on Monday, June 3.
Other Kylie products in the pipeline include Kylie: Naked, an optimistically titled book published by Ebury Press.
Kylie Minogue plays Cardiff International Arena from tonight until Monday, April 29. Tickets £25. Dial 029 2022 4488.
