A NEW amber dawn broke at Newport County yesterday. And the new board may be ready to put their shirts on the Dr Martens Premier club getting back into the big time.
The fab four, well-known characters in the city's business circle, have promised that Nationwide Football League status is their golden goal.
It's more than 13 years since Newport has had a league club after the old Ironsides went bust.
And, although the quartet say they will not be pumping cash into the club, all pledge to use their expertise to bring new investors to Spytty Stadium.
