HUNDREDS of teenagers turned out to audition for a touring play which will be visiting Monmouthshire schools.
'The Crime Of Your Life' is the brainchild of Monmouthshire Youth Service and will tour schools across the county in July.
Auditions were held in Usk to find budding actors, television camera operators, wardrobe assistants or a sound or lighting technician to produce the "all-singing, all-dancing interactive gameshow".
Gwent Police and Monmouthshire council are also co-sponsors of the tour, which will spread the message to teenagers that crime, in any form, does not pay. Youth worker Mark Holmes said that schoolchildren taking part would not miss out on lessons. He said: "We will provide support and training to everyone who takes part.
"This is a ground-breaking game-show style play which promises to be entertaining as well as educational."
The Crime of Your Life can be seen towards the end of summer term in July.
