CWMBRAN Town are now hoping to use Leckwith Stadium in Cardiff as the venue for their final three home games after Barry Town's Jenner Park was ruled out.
Saturday's home game with third-placed League of Wales rivals TNS is their last at Cwmbran Stadium before having to leave the ground for a second time so redevelopment can be completed.
Chairman and benefactor John Colley has threatened to quit after what he called "the latest of many kicks in the teeth".
Town have been forced to play their home games at other grounds such as Merthyr's Penydarren Park and Port Talbot Town's Victoria Road over the last 18 months had cost the club in excess of £100,000, he claimed.
Cwmbran have four games to play after Saturday to fulfil their fixtures - three are at home, two in the league and one in the league-cup.
The first game against Afan Lido will be played at Leckwith on Tuesday (7.30pm). And negotiations are continuing to play their league game against Port Talbot there on April 25 and their League Cup semi-final second leg against Carmarthen on April 30.
The move to Barry fell through because they were already committed to various local cup finals being played on their ground and could not comply with Cwmbran's dates.
"We will fulfil our fixtures, but it's not perfect. We still have to play these games away from home when, with an Intertoto Cup place at stake, we wanted to benefit from home advantage," said Colley.
"It means a lot of extra work and extra expense." Meanwhile. Cwmbran still have a host of players unavailable for their match with TNS tomorrow.
TNS still need another win to clinch a UEFA Cup spot for next season while Cwmbran need victory in a bid to clinch fourth spot and a place in next term's Intertoto Cup. Cwmbran are without suspended pair midfielder Chris Watkins and skipper Sean Wharton. Playmaker Anthony Wright (hamstring) and striker Mattie Davies (fractured foot) are out injured.
Defender Richard Carter and midfield duo Sean Mainwaring and Adam Moore face late fitness tests.
Cwmbran are looking for their third win in a row after beating Aberystwyth Town and Rhayader Town - and they beat TNS away 1-0 back in December.
Coach Roger Gibbins said: "It will be a tough game tomorrow but we hope to continue our unbeaten run."
