YOUNG people called on adults to listen to their needs at a special workshop and seminar in Newport .
Duffryn youngsters were able to tell their elders what they want in a seminar organised by the council's youth service and called 'da event'.
Representatives of the council, police, Welsh Assembly, government and community groups were invited to the seminar, held on Saturday.
And there was also an opportunity for young people to take part in activities such as graffiti art and DJ workshops.
'Da event' was aimed at giving young people a voice and was held in Duffryn community centre and the Morgan Room in Tredegar House.
