FORMER Welsh international chief Bobby Gould (pictured) has pointed the finger at Nathan Blake as Wolverhampton Wanderers begin to wobble in their bid for the Premiership - declaring: "You've not got enough goals."
Newport-born Welsh striker Blake signed a three-year deal at Molineux in September after a £1.5m switch from Blackburn Rovers - and has netted eleven goals, that sees Wolves sitting in third spot in the first division.
But Gould rapped: "Nathan Blake has not been as deadly as he should be."
Ironically Wolves manager Dave Jones revealed on Blake's arrival: "Hopefully we'll be up there - and when the nerves start to jangle Nathan will be there for us. Nathan's experience and knowledge is invaluable to us."
Blake played for Wales in their Millennium Stadium friendly against the Czech Republic last month but will find himself on the bench when Mark Hughes has a full squad to choose from especially with Celtic's John Hartson and Newcastle United's Craig Bellamy in such deadly form this season.
Blake said on his arrival at Wolves: "I'm a goalscorer. I hope to score plenty of goals as achieving promotion is the biggest thing."
