RYAN Giggs and Gary Speed have officially pulled themselves out of Mark Hughes' Wales squad to face the Czech Republic at the Millennium Stadium on Wednesday (7.15pm).
Manchester United star Giggs, pictured, has been withdrawn by club boss Sir Alex Ferguson as the Premiership champions face Deportivo La Coruna in the quarter-finals of the Champions League just a week later and have a hectic league run-in.
Skipper Speed has been sidelined with the hamstring problem he picked up in Newcastle United's game at Liverpool two weeks ago and it was thought he would pull out - and over the weekend the former Leeds and Everton star has confirmed he will definitely not play.
Speed's club teammate, striker Craig Bellamy, is also out with a knee injury and Cardiff City's Robert Earnshaw is also unlikely to feature in Hughes' side because he has a hamstring injury.
Meanwhile, West Bromwich Albion midfielder Andy Johnson probably won't play either because the Baggies clash with Crewe Alexander in Division One the night before.
