TOP athlete Christian Malcolm, pictured, is launching a project that hopes to fire enthusiasm among local people.
Personal development and success is the focus of an event taking place in Pillgwenlly Millennium Centre from March 19 to 23.
People of all ages are invited to find out more about training, education, jobs, community projects, sport, music, leisure, health and the arts.
The Pillgwenlly Engagement Project is part of an initiative organised by Newport Community Consortia for Education and Training.
It aims to develop opportunities for community education and training as well as lifelong learning.
"A whole host of organisations and advisors will be on hand to answer any questions and give positive advice," said Jane Timmins, CCET manager.
"We hope that everyone will find a visit to Pillgwenlly Engagement Project a very rewarding and enjoyable experience."
