CAERLEON boss Denis McCoy has called for his side to stop the rot, starting with their Division One game at Cardiff Corries tomorrow.
And McCoy could well make his comeback in a bid to end a run of four successive Division One defeats.
Defender McCoy has been sidelined with a troublesome calf strain. The eager McCoy said: "I am champing at the bit to play again because it's a bit frustrating sitting on the side.
"I have rested and trained on my own - even when on holiday." And that's a pretty good indication that McCoy will be back as he switches from a 4-4-2 formation to 5-3-2, operating with wing backs.
He explained: ""We have experimented in recent games and it is more than coincidental that in three of the games we have played with a back four and that has answered a few questions.
"We need to stop the rot and get a few right results." Fields Park-Pontllanfraith will have central defender Anthony Reynolds and striker Matthew Cooper back in their squad for the game at Ely Rangers.
Tredegar travel to in-form Porthcawl who have won their last seven league and cup games and have not conceded a goal in three league wins this month.
Tredegar will be without recent signing, student Matthew Williams. He made his debut in the win over Merthyr Saints last week - in goal and not as a striker.
Williams was an early second-half replacement for the injured Kris Morris and Tredegar may call on Sean Seaward in their hour of need. Defender Geraint Newell is expected to make a return after missing three games through injury.
Tillery player-manager Dai Webley misses the home Division Three derby with RTB Ebbw Vale and a hamstring injury could cause Dai Smith to miss the game along with midfield player Lee Jones who has an ankle injury.
Leaders Caldicot should be a full strength for the home game against Risca who are looking for a double following their early season 1-0 success.
