SIX-year-old Tomas Gullick (pictured) from Beaufort is buying himself a pogo stick after winning Gwent Association for the Blind's 'Design a Card for Christmas' competition.
The Beaufort Hill Primary pupil's design has been made into the association's official Christmas card.
Mum Sian Gullick, of Swan Crescent, said: "Tom is partially sighted and the competition was open to all the young members of the association.
"He has a helper to guide him through school and he said it was 'cool' when he won."
Tom suffers from nystagmus - a congenital eye condition. Delighted Tom, who was presented with a £10 cheque, said: "I was pleased when they said I won and I'm going to buy a pogo stick."
