HUNDRED Reasons went down a storm when they supported Muse in Newport Centre earlier this month but can they do the same in TJ's this weekend.
The Surrey-based rock'n'roll band headline the Newport venue on Saturday with support from Hell is for Heroes and Wales' own Liberty 37.
The band is promoting its new EP on Columbia, I'll Find You, backed with Sunny and Slow Motion.
I'll Find You sounds as if it should have been recorded by America High School hardcore rockers, which is typical for Hundred Reasons. Hundred Reasons do get harder than this though - Cerebra is more Emo or At the Drive In.
The band cite Guns'n'Roses, Senser, Alice in Chains and Sunny Day Real Estate as main influences. Copperpot, Journals, Stapleton, Douglas, Capdown and Vex Red are their favourite new bands.
The band is Andy Bews (drums), Colin Doran (vocals), Andy Gilmour (bass), Larry Hibbitt (guitar and vocals) and Paul Townsend (guitar and vocals).
They recently told the NME their ambition: "For the band just to keep getting better and better.
"If we get massive we'll still be the same people, the only difference being better cars."
Hundred Reasons play TJ's, Newport on Saturday with Hell is for Heroes and Liverty 37 in support. Tickets are £6.
