CARDIFF Little Theatre return to the Sherman on Tuesday, with an adaptation of Henry Fielding's classic 18th century tale of sexual encounters, murder, deceit and mayhem.
The plot follows the fortunes of young Tom Jones, orphan waif, and adopted favourite son of wealthy Squire Alworthy - until he falls in love with the squire's daughter.
The result is banishment, and a bawdy odyssey which takes our hero to the streets of London.
This Cardiff-based amateur company were established in 1930, and have a long-standing relationship with the Sherman.
Many of them have gone on to work professionally over the years.
Tom Jones is at the Sherman Theatre, Venue 2 from Thursday to Saturday. The show starts at 8pm and tickets are priced £7/£5.
