THE owner of a baby portrait company is appealing for information after thieves stole hundreds of undeveloped pictures and two cameras during a smash and grab raid on their van in Newport.
The Cuties picture company was on a promotional campaign in Newport's Kingsway Centre this week and parked its van in the centre's car park.
The theft occurred at about 6pm on Monday, when thieves smashed a window in the van, and stole a bag containing two cameras, and around a dozen films valued at over £4,000.
The photographs are all from a recent shoot in Nottingham, and Cuties owner Hazel Kent said: "These pictures are not worth anything to these thieves and are the result of a lot of hard work by our staff, particularly in the run up to Christmas.
"The films are in a Superdrug carrier bag, and if anyone has seen a bag lying around, or knows anything about it, then please give them back or call the police on 01633 244999."
