EBBW Vale have a trio of injury concerns ahead of their clash at basement boys Caerphilly on Saturday (writes Paul Tully).
But coach Mike Ruddock is confident all three players will make it to try and help the steelmen out of the bottom three.
Second row lineout ace Neil Edwards (pictured) aggravated a neck muscle problem in last Friday's 15-10 win over Edinburgh and has had to have a few days rest.
Powerful centre David Weatherley suffered a dead leg in the match after recovering from a knee problem to play in the Edinburgh game.
And loose head prop Iestyn Thomas took a knock playing for Wales against Ireland on Saturday.
"I'm confident they will all make it," said Ruddock, who has lineout options via Gavin Evans and Will Thomas should Edwards fail.
Edwards was prominent in Vale's important Welsh/Scottish League win over Edinburgh which followed their European Shield win over Rovigo.
Now come Caerphilly and another match Vale have targeted to win in their bid to climb away from the lower reaches of the Welsh/Scottish League.
"I thought we gave a very professional performance against Edinburgh," said Ruddock. "We made sure we got over the gain line, applied pressure, forced penalties and then we kicked them.
"Some reports in the press have suggested it wasn't a very good game, but I took a lot of pluses from it.
"Defences were on top. Edinburgh had not conceded a try in their previous outings against Swansea and Biarritz.
"But I thought we stepped up a gear in terms of gain line effectiveness and tackling effectiveness and we saw with Wales on Saturday what happens if you miss tackles." l Wales A will play Uruguay on November 24 at Cardiff Arms Park (2pm). It will form part of a double-header as Cardiff's club game against Cambridge University going ahead straight after at 4pm.
