MOTORISTS were facing hours of disruption today after a truck overturned on a Gwent main road. The incident happened on the northbound carriageway near the Dixton roundabout in Monmouth just before 4.30am.
There were no reports of any injuries but Inspector David Llewellyn, of Gwent Police, said specialist recovery units were needed to remove the truck, which was partially in a ditch.
The vehicle caused at least one lane of the road to be closed, and traffic was expected to be disrupted during the morning rush hour and for several hours afterwards.
