CWMBRAN Town fly out to Slovakia this afternoon for the second leg of their European Cup tie against Slovan Bratislava.
Trailing 4-0 from the first leg, Town are facing an almost impossible task if they are to progress to the next phase of the competition.
But Tony Willcox has insisted his side won't be going just to make up the numbers and will give it their all.
"We are not going to be overawed by the experience," said Willcox. "We've played in Europe before and a number of the lads have experienced this type of occasion.
"Although we have a mountain to climb we are going to go out there and give it our best shot."
After the first leg, Willcox had said that he considered the away trip to be a useful exercise in team bonding for the coming season.
"Although we are obviously going to give the game 110 per cent, we have to be realistic and the trip to Bratislava will be ideal for bonding the team together for the future." Cwmbran will be without influential defender Dean Philpott after he was sent off in the first leg.
They welcome back strikers Craig Thomas, and Chris Watkin and their appearance will be crucial to Cwmbran's ability to show a good account of themselves.
