A LORRY driver accused of rape was cleared of all charges at Newport crown court yesterday.
David Webley, aged 54, of Ty Eglwys, Coedkernew, denied allegations of rape and indecent assault against a female who cannot be identified.
Mr Webley told the court the first he knew of the allegations was when he got home from work one day to find the police waiting for him.
Mr Webley said in court: "I've done none of what she alleged. It didn't happen."
The jury found Mr Webley not guilty of all charges.
