A FEMALE motorist was indecently assaulted by a man pretending to be a Good Samaritan when her car broke down.
Gwent Police are hunting for the "well-spoken" attacker who terrorised her when she pulled over on Caerleon Road, Newport, on Thursday.
The woman's car broke down near the junction of Heather Road at 6pm. A man driving a red Ford Escort hatchback stopped and offered the woman help.
She got into his car - and instead of fixing her car or calling for help, he indecently assaulted her.
The man is described as white, around 6ft 2in, in his 40s, with extremely dark hair.
At the time of the assault the man was wearing what detectives termed "an expensive black suit".
The Escort's registration plate started with the letter and digits J86.
Anyone with information about the attack should contact Maindee police on 01633 244999.
