TERRY Wall organised an excellent night's entertainment in aid of St Anne's Hospice and gave our appeal a £1,300 boost.
Terry's wife Angela was a patient in the hospice before she died aged 55 last July.
He was full of praise for the way staff had cared for Angela. "They were marvellous," he said.
As a result, Terry said, he had formed a bond with the hospice. "I can't do enough for them," said the Llanhilleth father-of-three, who also has five grandchildren.
The night he organised at Soffryd Social Club featured guest artists.
"It was tremendous, there were about 200 people there," he said.
A raffle also helped towards the total. Terry organised a similar event last year, which also raised an impressive amount for St Anne's.
