NATHAN Blake has ruled out an imminent return to Ninian Park during the summer - indicating it will be SIX years before he will contemplate rejoining the Bluebirds.
"After all my injury problems I can't wait for next season with Blackburn Rovers," said Blake.
And Blake, who had indicated that he may return to Cardiff, added: "A move back to Cardiff is NOT in my thoughts at all. Maybe I'll return when I'm 35 - as manager - but not now".
Blake, 29, went on: "My only objective at the moment is to get back playing in the Premier League and try and score as many goals as possible. Now Rovers have got into the Premiership we need to make sure we stay there".
And Blake spoke of his turmoil this season, as he watched Rovers return to the top flight from the sidelines: "It's been a long season after missing so many games, and it's killed me being out so long. It felt brilliant to be back.
"It's been a funny feeling, because I've not been involved. This season has been a killer for me - but I'm fully fit now - my problems are over."
