HARLEY Davidson bikers will once again take to old Severn Crossing for the sixth annual Hoggin the Bridge spectacular later this month.

Riders will this year take a different route after leaving the bridge and head into Chepstow town where a hog roast will be on offer. It begins at 11am on October 16.

Each year Hoggin the Bridge raises money for various causes.

This year St Anne's Hospice and river rescue organisation SARA will be among the beneficiaries.

Entrants need to make a £10 minimum donation and the first 1,000 registrations receive a commemorative cap and pin.

Gwent riders can enter by making their donations to Phil Hayward, care of Newport Tool Hire, 456, Corporation Road, Newport. Telephone 01633 211565 or 07939 046424.
