The fastest-growing software development company in Wales has moved to the capital. Fusion, which started out in Gwent, has opened its new headquarters in the shadow of the Millennium Stadium in the centre of Cardiff.
The company, which specialises in e-business applications, has moved from its former base close to Tredegar Park to new offices in Quebec House in Cowbridge Road East.
And the rapidly-growing business, which has a staff of 22, is already looking to increase its numbers to cope with demand from clients right across the UK.
Founded in 1999 by managing director Chris Short, Fusion specialises in the creation, management, support and development of internet e-business solutions.
Its experience in building state-of-the-art applications also means it can make the most of promoting its clients' websites to all the major internet search engines.
Fusion's clients range from local government and education to tourism and the aerospace industry, and include The Carbon Trust, the Wales Millennium Centre, Waltham Forest LEA and the Welsh Development Agency.
Fusion client services director Paul Owens said: "We have moved headquarters purely to facilitate growth and to ensure we can attract the right calibre of staff. "Our new building offers us more spacious client meeting areas and improved working and training facilities for our team. "It also gives us room to expand further, and we are actively recruiting client-facing staff to make sure our services remain one of the best in the industry."
