CWMBRAN Town will be without new midfield signing Richard Ingram and skilful winger Chris Rogers when they entertain fellow-Welsh Premier League strugglers Cardiff Grange Harlequins tonight (kick-off 7.30pm).

Former Cardiff City player Ingram, on loan from promotion-seeking Southern League Premier Division side Merthyr Tydfil, made his debut in the 0-0 away draw against NEWI Cefn Druids on December 17, but is side-lined after breaking his collar-bone over the festi ve period.

Rogers, who began his career with Newport County, misses out with the leg injury he picked up in Cwmbran's recent 5-1 Welsh Premier Under-21 League win over Carmarthen Town.

The pair are the only two absentees for Cwmbran, who will give a home debut to right back Jamie Davies, also on loan from Merthyr.

The visit of Grange Harlequins means a clash between two clubs who are experiencing financial problems, with the Quins in an even worse situation than Cwmbran.

Following the resignation of former Crows player Paul Giles as their manager, the Quins have seen 11 senior players depart and are currently on a run of five successive defeats.

"I said previously that I'm not going to put any more importance on playing the Quins just because we're expected to beat them," said Crows boss Sean Wharton.

"However this game marks the start of a difficult period for us and it would be good for us if we could begin it with a victory.

"I'm looking for us to improve our home form and this game represents a good chance for us to do just that." Cwmbran are in 14th position with 15 points from 14 games. The Quins are 16th, one place above the relegation zone, with 13 points from 15 outings,

Tonight's match, the first meeting between the clubs at this level, is the first of six games for Cwmbran in January.

They travel to face the Quins on the 17th, a match re-arranged following the recent postponement of the teams' scheduled clash at Cardiff's Leckwith Stadium.
