POLICE are warning the public not to approach a man who went missing from his home but who may still be in the area.

Leon Zbudowskyj, 22, was last seen at his Abergavenny address at around 5pm on Saturday, December 31.

Police are concerned for Mr Zbudowskyj as he left without the medication which he takes for anxiety.

A spokeswoman from Gwent police said: "We are asking members of the public not to approach him as he could get very anxious."

Mr Zbudowskyj is five feet ten inches tall, of slim build with short bleached hair shaved into a leopard skin style, with a goatee beard and sideburns. When he was last seen he was wearing a Fila green and cream reversible jacket, beige trousers, a plain black shirt and imitation crocodile shoes.

It is believed Mr Zbudowskyj has visited the Cardiff area and is known to have visited the Caerphilly or Talywain areas.

Police said the public are not to approach him. They said if anyone has seen him, or knows of his whereabouts, to call Abergavenny police station on 01633 838111.
