Newport have been handed the Konica-Minolta Cup fifth round draw they would have wanted to avoid.
They are away to fellow Welsh Premier Division side Aberavon who pipped them 18-17 in the last 16 at Aberavon last season.
Aberavon also beat Newport at home in the league last season (34-21) and thumped them 39-7 this season.
"It's dj vu - a bit like 'Groundhog Day'," said Newport coach David Rees. "We could certainly have had a better draw.
"Along with Neath and Pontypridd they are one of the form teams in the league this season, but we have a few demons to put to rest and we know that on our day we can beat anyone."
Cross Keys, if they beat Whitland on Saturday, will be home to Pontypridd, whom they have defeated at home in the league this season but who knocked them out of the cup (22-17) at Pontypridd last season.
Draw: Aberavon v Newport; Bonymaen v Cardiff; Builth Wells v Nant Conwy; Dunvant or Penclawdd v Maesteg; Glamorgan Wanderers v Swansea; Llandovery v UWIC; Neath v Llangennech; Whitland or Cross Keys v Pontypridd. Ties to be played February 17-19.
