FEEL the force - Jason Forster is back determined to breathe fire into Newport Gwent Dragons and lead them to victory against Castres at Rodney Parade tomorrow and get them into Europe's premier competition again next season.

It's the last chance saloon for the Dragons as they bid to break their duck in the Heineken Cup this season.

They have managed just one point in their five pool matches, the losing bonus they achieved in Castres, as their injury-hit small squad has tried to grapple with superior weight of numbers against leading French, English and Irish opposition.

Forster has been at the helm before with Newport and the Dragons when they have overcome some pretty impressive French opposition at Rodney Parade -- Toulouse, Stade Franca

Now it's Castres again and Forster has recovered from his groin injury sufficiently to captain the side after missing last week's game at Sale. He also wants to continue the Dragons' unbeaten run at home this year, having beaten the Ospreys and Connacht this month.

"We've been putting in impressive performances, we've just not been getting the results in Europe," said Forster, referring to creditable displays against all three sides.

"Now we need to marry the two, we need to start going out and winning to get the momentum back to Rodney Parade.

"The youngsters have gained invaluable experience from their European l continued from back campaign, and we've got to get the results we're striving for especially in order to qualify for Europe next season. "The players have given everything, they've put their heart and soul in and there's a lot more to come. I'm confident we'll start to play better and we'll climb the league table.

"We've taken the scalps of some very good French teams here and we've beaten Castres in the Newport days, but we just don't know what team will turn up tomorrow, we won't know until the first 20 minutes but we'll make sure our preparations are right.

"We probably haven't given the supporters and the coaches the results they deserve. We lost in the last few minutes against Ulster and in Edinburgh, little things make such a difference and we've got to eradicate the mistakes which better teams don't make."

l The Dragons hope to have wingers Gareth Wyatt and Nathan Brew back for their Celtic League game against Leinster at Rodney Parade on February 18.

Wyatt has been out since early December with a dislocated elbow and Brew has been missing since Christmas with a broken thumb, but both are on the mend.

It's a tight schedule, though, for lock Luke Charteris who has damaged shoulder ligaments while the Dragons are not expecting full back Kevin Morgan to be available again this season.
