THESE two elderly cats need loving homes where they can spend the rest of their lives.

Domino and Tabitha, both 12, are currently in the care of the Gwent south branch of Cats Protection.

Last week they were featured in a homing show in Newport, along with 13 other cats and kittens.

All the other animals were found new homes - but Domino and Tabitha were not so lucky and were the only cats left without new owners.

Publicity officer Loretta Kedward is now appealing for potential owners to come forward.

She said: "Domino is 12 years old and came into care because his owners no longer had time to care for him. He is a shy, gentle cat who is very confused at the moment because he does not know what he has done wrong.

"He could live with other cats provided they are not aggressive and he is desperately looking for a permanent home to spend the rest of his days."

Tabitha is a tortoise shell and white she-cat who came into care because her owner's son was allergic to her. She was homed once but did not get on with her new owner's cat.

Mrs Kedward added: "She is a gentle, loving cat, desperate for a home of her own as she does not understand what happened to her."

She can be homed with children and could live with other cats and dogs too.
