Newport-based Certus IT is one of only two companies in Wales to achieve Gold Partner status from global software giants Microsoft.
The Celtic Springs business, which offer IT consultancy, solutions, installations and support services, has achieved this prestigious title for the second year running.
The Microsoft Partner Programme recognises Certus IT's expertise and impact in the technology marketplace. The gold award means Certus IT has demonstrated expertise with Microsoft technologies and proven its ability to meet customers' needs. "We are extremely pleased to have attained Gold Certified Partner status in the Microsoft Partner Programme. This allows us to clearly promote our expertise, and relationship with Microsoft to our customers," says Paul Brown, business development director at Certus IT. "The benefits provided through our Gold Partner status will allow us to continue to improve the IT support services we provide for our customers."
Paul explained that one of the many requirements for achieving the gold status was for Certus IT to 'declare' one or more Microsoft Competencies, differentiating their capabilities to customers looking for a particular type of help. Certus IT identified their skill and expertise in the 'Network Infrastructure Solutions' and 'Advanced Infrastructure Solutions' competencies, improving operational efficiency and reducing security risks for their customers. "Achieving Gold Certified Partner status for a second consecutive year demonstrates a consistent capability to deliver the highest levels of technical expertise and commitment to providing a professional service to our customers," said Paul. "As a Microsoft Gold Certified Partner we receive a rich set of benefits, including access to Microsoft training and support which we believe will give us a competitive advantage in the marketplace."
