POLICE in Abergavenny issued this photofit of a man they want to question over an incident where a woman woke up to find someone in her bedroom.
The woman, in her fifties, woke up to find the stranger in her bedroom at about 1.25am on March 12.
She started shouting at him and he fled.
He ran away from the St Helen's Road area of Abergavenny where police officers and dog handlers gave chase, but he escaped.
A detailed forensic examination of the house, which was unlocked, has been carried out. The offender is described as 19 years old, 5ft 10ins tall, and was wearing a white short- sleeved T-shirt, dark coloured jeans and a dark beanie hat.
Detective Sergeant Ieuan Watkins said: "It was snowing on the night it happened and a person of this description would have stood out had he been seen in the area.
"It is a particularly unusual incident which has caused the occupant considerable upset and we are working closely with her to seek to identify and arrest the offender as soon as possible."
