YOUNG NEWPORT film makers are to follow football fans from the 32 World Cup nations for a 90-minute documentary.
Students from the University of Wales, Newport, say the film will explore the lives of fans from each of the countries competing in this year's finals in Germany.
When a country is knocked out of the tournament, the fan from that country is no longer filmed. This means that by the end of the programme only one fan will remain.
Film producer Nina Gertenberger, a second year student at the International Film School Wales, said: "We're recruiting film makers from each of the 32 countries competing.
"The result will be a film that is not just for fanatical footy fans but for everybody who likes human interest stories."
Nina, 24, hopes to distribute the film internationally, make it available on DVD and enter it into film festivals.
They are now looking for companies to sponsor them. For more information visit www.ourworldisround.co.uk
