A MINUTE'S silence, right, was held at the Newport Gwent Dragons clash with the Cardiff Blues last night in honour of rugby great Ken Jones, pictured left. Former Wales, British Lion and Newport rugby player Mr Jones, also a sprinter who won a silver medal in the 1948 Olympic games, died at the age of 84. IN his 84 years Ken Jones was a rugby legend, athletics hero, journalist, businessman and teacher, as well as a loving husband and father. See the Argus today for a full tribute.
