BUDDING actors lined up to audition for walk-on roles in a new blockbuster movie being filmed in Gwent.
Outlaws, by director Nick Love, whose other films include Football Factory and The Business, is to be shot around Chepstow.
Second assistant director Tom White yesterday exclusively revealed to the Argus that Sean Bean and Danny Dyer would star in the film, with more big names being announced shortly.
The action movie is about five men who have suffered various injustices during their lives.
Mr White said: "They have been let down by the system and they band together to make good all the wrongs that have been done to them. It's certainly not Harry Potter."
The film is set in London and Chepstow.
"Nick is very keen on realism and it's scripted as being in Chepstow, so it made sense to come here," said Mr Love.
Scores of wannabes attended auditions for extras at Chepstow leisure centre on Wednesday, and Mr White said they were looking for men and women aged 16-60.
Producers need 1,200 extras in total, and another auditiion is running at TJ's, Clarence Place, Newport, next Wednesday, noon-6pm.
