THE hottest gig in Gwent this year takes place at Newport Centre tonight with the Arctic Monkeys.
The 2,224 tickets released in February sold out in just an hour after fans waited in a large queue outside the centre.
The band hit number one with their debut single, I Bet That You Look Good On The Dancefloor, after first releasing it on the internet.
Their second single, When The Sun Goes Down, also made it to the top spot.
Their album, Whatever People Say I Am, I'm Not, was the fastest-selling debut album in the UK.
The four lads from Sheffield became overnight sensations.
Tickets for their gigs cost £14 but have been trading on eBay for hundreds of pounds.
Their only other Welsh gig will be in Cardiff in May. And, yes, it's already a sell-out!
