A STAR-studded golf tournament is returning to Newport's Celtic Manor Resort this year, it was confirmed.
Last year's inaugural All*Star golf event, a celebrity version of the Ryder Cup, pitted Hollywood A-list couple Catherine Zeta-Jones and Michael Douglas against each other, as the Europeans beat their American counterparts.
Europe's team in 2005 included radio and TV presenter Chris Evans, a record-breaking Olympic gold medallist, rower Sir Steve Redgrave, and former England/Arsenal striker- turned-TV personality Ian Wright.
Professional golfer Colin Montgomerie returns this year as captain.
America's team in last year's three-day extravaganza included Dallas actor Patrick Duffy, former Charlie's Angel Cheryl Ladd, Rob Lowe and Mark Spitz.
TV duo Ant and Dec will once again host the tournament, from August 26-28, to be broadcast on ITV.
Ant said: "Last year was great because both teams took it really seriously.
"We had a nail-biting finish with team Europe winning at the last hole by the narrowest of margins - only two points - so there really is everything to play for.
"The tournament promises to be even bigger and better than last year. I'm sure there will be really strong rivalry between the USA and the Europeans once again."
Colin Montgomerie said: "I'm delighted and very proud to be captaining the European team again and I am looking forward to returning to Wales to defend our trophy."
