THREE Argus reporters are taking on the challenge of the Cardiff half marathon to raise funds for the Argus-backed charity, Sparkle Appeal.
Faye Dickson, 23, Ben Frampton, 25, and Ruth Mansfield, 23, will compete in the 13.1 mile run around the city which takes place this Sunday.
All funds raised will go towards the Sparkle Appeal which is aiming to raise £1.5million to equip a purpose-built centre in High Cross for the 1,200 disabled children across Newport, Torfaen and Monmouthshire.
Miss Dickson, of Monmouth, said: “We have all done work with Sparkle in the past and so are really pleased to be doing something ourselves to help raise funds for such a fantastic charity.
“It has been hard work but we are all looking forward to taking on the challenge and raising as much money as possible.”
