A CWMBRAN man accused of causing the death of a Usk bank worker was bailed until December.
Aaron Davies, 24, of Barnets, Greenmeadow, appeared in Cardiff crown court yesterday charged with the manslaughter of 26-year-old Gareth Davies.
Gareth Davies, of Llangibby, died from head injuries in October 2007, two days after an incident outside Wetherspoon’s John Fielding Pub in Cwmbran town centre.
He had been with friends dressed as the Ghostbuster team at a fundraising fancy dress party when the incident happened.
Aaron Davies had been expected to enter a plea, but defence counsel Patrick Harrington requested the hearing be adjourned to allow for legal arguments.
The Recorder of Cardiff, Nicholas Cooke QC, released Aaron Davies on conditional bail until December 14.
