LITTLE Finley Ellis-Hall is all smiles as he looks forward to a new edition to his family.
The three-year-old suffers from neuroblastoma which causes tumours across his body.
The youngster from Llanmartin has been in and out of hospital but now he is eagerly awaiting the arrival of a little brother of sister as his mum Karen is due to give birth in the next few weeks.
As well as the new arrival, Finley himself has started nursery at Llanmartin Primary School.
Mark Ellis-Hall said Finley is going four days a week and has fitted in already, despite starting just in September.
“He’s made some nice friends there,” said Mark. “He seems to really enjoy it.”
On Monday night paintings he drew were sold at a charity action at the National Museum, Cardiff, organised by Latch.
Finley has had an array of chemo and radio therapy over the last year to deal with tumours growing all over his body.
His treatment is not complete and the family recently returned from London for further radiotherapy.
They are due to return in November for scans to see it has been successful.
The family have also raised £110,000 over the last year for pioneering stem-cell treatment to restore Finley Ellis-Hall’s sight.
