THREE Gwent primary school pupils won top prizes in a national cycling competition last week.
The young competitors from Our Lady and St Michael’s Roman Catholic Primary School in Abergavenny won awards in the Wales Schools Cyclo-cross Championship in Brecon.
Nine-year-old Megan James came second in the under 10s category, closely followed by Ella Doheny is sixth place, while six-year-old Alex Griffiths took second place in the category for under 8s.
The school also took the team prize for the under 10s.
