CHILDREN at the Beaufort Centre in Newport plant up their new garden with winter flowers.
The Rascals after-school club were able to transform the grounds of the St Julains youth centre thanks to a £4,900 grant from the All Wales fund earlier this year.
After months of problems with vandalism to the outside of the building, centre manager Sandra Gibbons hopes the garden’s new look will make it a more pleasant place for youngsters to play.
